Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) is undertaking bridge refurbishment work on Mingaletta Road, Kundabung, as part of the NSW Government’s rail infrastructure program across the country rail network.
Works are being completed by TfNSW’s contractor, John Holland Rail (JHR). JHR operate and maintain the Country Regional Network across NSW under a ten year contract with TfNSW.
Why is the work being completed?
The rail overbridge on Mingaletta Road, Kundabung requires several structural improvements to ensure continued safe access for the community and safe passage for trains along the railway line.
When will work commence?
Work on the rail overbridge is currently scheduled to commence Tuesday 24th January to Wednesday 1st of February 2017, subject to final approvals and weather conditions. Site operations will run from:
- Monday to Sunday – 6:30am to 5:00pm
How will I be affected?
Traffic control is being installed on Mingaletta Road, Kundabung and the bridge is being restricted to one lane of operation to limit the volume of traffic through the worksite. Minor delays to traffic may be experienced.
There may be some noise and extra vehicle movements associated with this work—however, we will endeavour to minimise disruption wherever possible. We thank you for your patience while this essential work is completed.
